During this period, she become a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance based in Kansas City, M.O. And received a graduate certificate in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Memphis. As a Housing and Community Development Fellow, Courtney began her community development journey as a fellow with the Greater Community Development Council of Greater Memphis. She then interned for several entities such as the City of Memphis.
Her latest role within the nonprofit industry is Chief of Staff and City Innovation Director. Courtney recently was selected as Transportation and Infrastructure Co-Lead for Memphis Mayor Young's transition team and is the newly appointed board commissioner for the city's transit agency. She is also a member of the Junior League of Memphis and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
